Have you heard of the festival of thrift? This started in Darlington in 2013 and has grown into an annual festival that promotes all things sustainable. As it outgrew Lingfield point it was moved to Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds in Redcar.
I’ve always enjoyed visiting and with a previous business being a trader but this year was different from all the others. I was asked to come and give some Charleston-based dance taster classes. I was so excited to be asked to be part of this amazing event which is so colourful and full of such great entertainers and traders. Did you spot us?
